- The decreased water in the mixer reduces the porosity of the concrete/mortar once fully cured, reducing the penetration capacity of water
- Reduces water absorption by capillary action
Add between 0.5% and 1.5% of the weight of the mortar/concrete cement. An increase in dosage is possible if adequate prior tests are performed, though this reduction may impact the setting time. Add the plasticiser to the water in the mixer only after the cement and aggregates have been added.
