Notice

Sealant must be smoothed with a neutral smoothing agent such as our sealant smoothing agent, art. no. 0893 3.

Joint finishing should be based on DIN 18540 and DIN 18545. The sealant must only be subject to two-side adhesion. Any other adhesion to an undersurface can result in stress cracks in the event of movement. In such cases, 100% sealing is no longer guaranteed. To prevent three-side adhesion, the joint should be packed with back-fill material. The minimum fill depth of 15 mm must be provided on both sides of the partition. The wall thickness must be greater than 100 mm.
