VIB-TEC operating principle
The main blow of the chipping hammer pushes the chisel against the concrete, demolishing a certain quantity. The impact waves (vibrations) between the first and next blows produce other impacts, removing a further quantity of concrete. As most energy is on the shank, the impact energy is higher than traditional chisels. In other words, the vibrations are also used to remove the concrete
