First, discharge the line pressure in the pipe. Then clean and sand the damaged part of the pipe that is to be repaired. Open the metallised packaging while wearing the latex gloves provided. Immerse the roll in warm water (20-35 ºC) for 20 seconds and gently squeeze the tape with your hands to remove excess water. Wrap the adhesive tape tightly around the undamaged area, roll it up in a spiral and completely cover the area to be repaired by applying at least 8-10 wraps (leave only 10 % of the previous wrap uncovered). Before the area sets, mould the tape to the correct shape with wet gloves and press it on. Wait at least 30 minutes for the adhesive tape to dry and set completely.
To increase the resistance from 15 to 31 bar, fill the cracks and holes with epoxy filler art. no. 0893449011. Work the filler for at least two minutes until it is evenly mixed and has a homogeneous grey colour. Seal the cracks and holes using the filler and remove the excess. The filler should be flush with the pipe surface.
