Properties
High-bonding mineral-based waterproofing for concrete and mortars. Can be used in conditions of permanent immersion in water or to contain water from the outside. Allows water ways and leaks to be sealed even under pressure. Thanks to its rapid chemical reaction with water, it acts by instantly blocking the passage of water.
Hidrofix can be used as a super-fast waterproofing mortar that blocks the penetration of water from the outside. In such cases, the holes to be covered must not exceed 2 cm in diameter.

Datasheets(X)
Sealing water leaks in tanks, water ducts; wells; irrigation channels; garages and other applications that require sealing the passage of water from the outside.
Apply to a consolidated, clean support free from loose mortar residue, oils, metal components, clay etc. Where possible, the areas to be treated should be prepared by making an inverted wedge-shaped base, wider inside than outside, to facilitate the bonding of Hidrofix.
The mortar must be prepared with as little water as possible, just enough to obtain a mouldable paste. The mortar must be prepared in a plastic container and applied to the area to be waterproofed with a spatula, trowel or directly by hand. Hidrofix is a quick-drying mortar. As such, once the paste is obtained, it must be applied on the rupture to be treated and pressed for 2 to 3 minutes, which will be long enough for the mortar to harden. The amount of Hidrofix to be mixed should take into account that this mortar is only usable for 2 to 3 minutes before hardening, depending on the amount of water used and the ambient temperature. A second layer of Hidrofix can be applied if necessary. If it is to be applied to a running water rupture, Hidrofix can be mixed by hand, always wearing gloves, and applied to the rupture in the manner mentioned above, pressing for 2 to 3 minutes.
