We recommend using this product if the surface of the compression layer of slabs is very uneven. Before pouring mortar, ensure that the product is consistent across the entire surface, at an elevated position in case of plane changes, and completely covers any pillars as well as any piping positioned in or through the slab. The floating screed flooring must be strong enough to prevent cracking. The use of materials that assist in the removal of moisture in screed flooring will increase the curing time. It is therefore recommended that the flooring not be used until 15 to 20 days after application. Door frames must not perforate completely into the floating screed flooring. In the case of self-levelling screed flooring, the ARTEC TPR 10 membrane must be fully extended across the slab in order to prevent creasing.
