The product cannot be applied to damp surfaces or subject to settling. In applications with an Airless gun, a greater dilution is recommended and the thickness per layer will be lower. A minimum of 3 layers is recommended in this situation. The product should not be applied on high-traffic surfaces or in places where there is high abrasion.

The surface must be properly dry, free from dust, grease, oil or any other material that could affect its normal application and adhesion. For surfaces with mould and moss, these organisms must be eliminated. The product must be shaken slowly until it becomes homogeneous. When waterproofing terraces, apply a first coat, let dry and cover with fibreglass mesh. Afterwards, apply a second coat to properly cover the mesh. When waterproofing façades, the first coat can be diluted with a maximum of 5 % of water. After drying, apply the second coat of the product as is. As product protection, it is always advisable to apply Reculastic® Top, Art. 0893 199 61, which will protect the surface, reduce residual stickiness and give the coating greater strength. In order to prolong the life of the waterproofing, it is recommended to apply a layer of Reculastic® Top periodically every five years as maintenance.
Instructions to follow
It is advisable to cover Reculastic® either with cement adhesive and pavement, Reculastic® Top or with a screed. On hard and low-porous building materials, a treatment to open the pore must be carried out before application. After scouring, the surface must be washed well with water, allowed to dry and a primer must be applied.
