The ISOARC 48M universal electrode for vertical down welds is an effective multi-purposes electrode. It is easy to guide and control, and has good gap bridging ability. Additional properties: No end craters on the bead, easy to ignite, simple slag removal, easy welding even in awkward spaces.

Application areaUniversal rod electrode with rutile sheathing, specifically designed for vertical down welds. Good penetration into the substrate material, even weld texture - slightly convex when welding in normal positions. Very easy slag removal on vertical down seams. Applications: Production welds that are mainly also designed as vertical down welds, also suitable as a universal electrode in metalworking, for locksmith and maintenance work, assembly and pipe welding, etc.
